Andrés Bustamante

Andres Bustamante is considered the best Mexican contemporary comedian, just below Mario Moreno “Cantinflas”, He has a Bachelor Degree in Communication by the Anáhuac University.

He started his career in a bar named El Cuervo, located in the town of Coyoacan, this led him to Alejandro Aura’s TV show “Entre amigos”. His great simplicity, white humor, and versatility at creating characters of his own are the things that make him unique among other comedians.

He stands out thanks to his work at TV Azteca shows, one of the two biggest TV Networks, especially in the World Cup and Olympic games transmissions, as well as the collaboration with his friend Victor Trujillo’s characters, working with the voices of Disney Pixar movie “Monsters, Inc.”, dubbing ‘Mike Wazowski’.

He had his own TV channel named “Ponchovisión” which end transmissions on the 15th of May in 2004.

On June 14, 2010, he made an unexpected appearance in Televisa, at the program “Primero el Mundial”, playing one of his principal characters ‘Ponchito’ next to ‘Brozo’ (Victor Trujillo) and the journalist Carlos Loret de Mola.
