Arturo Sarukhán

He has a degree in International Relations by “El Colegio de México”, with studies in History by UNAM, and a master in International Relations by John Hopkins university located in Washington, DC.

During his diplomatic career, he has been counselor of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Fernando Solana. He has been Rosario Green’s counselor during her time as chancellor, as well as Jorge Montaño’s, while he was Mexico’s ambassador in the United States.

He has been Mexico’s ambassador in OPANAL, in charge of the Mexican embassy in the United States, addressing drug trafficking issues, he was Mexico’s general counsel in New York as well.
