Daniel Gómez Iñiguez, a graduate of the bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineer Administrator by ITESM, founder of the company SOLBEN(Solutions in Bioenergy), business that is recognized as the major producer of biodiesel in Mexico.
In the year 2008, he received the Award of Innovation by the Honeywell company by Dr. Mario Molina, Nobel prize of Chemistry. In the year 2009, he won the state Award of Youth by his developments in the branches of science and technology.
In the year 2010, he won the Prize to the Entrepreneur Student in the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (Mexican stock exchange) and was the first mexican to get to the end of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, getting the second place worldwide.
In 2011, he received the Santander award to Business Innovation.
In 2012, he received the National Youth Award.
In 2013, he was named Innovator of the year by the MIT Technology Review and in 2015 he was part of the list of Forbes 30 under 30, as one of the youngs under 30 years old that reached biggest global impact.
On the other hand, he is the founder of the GOVFACES company, set in Geneva, Switzerland. It is a company that promotes international transparency. It is also backed up by the Worldwide Bank and impacts nowadays more than 15 European countries. In 2014 he received the European Youth Award and in 2015 GOVFACES was named one of the 50 best swiss company to invest.
Both industries founded by him have been recognized by the Stock exchange of New York, with respect to its innovation disruptive models. One in 2011 and the other in 2012.
Ultimately, it’s important to recognize Daniel’s social labor. He has given over 300 national and international conferences, seeking to promote entrepreneurship, science, and technology. He is a counselor of economic development in several state governments, and has started social projects of impact in many sectors as it is art, education, finance to entrepreneurs, among others.
