Economist of the Mexican Autonomous Institute of Technology (1984). He earned his master’s degree in Economy in 1986 and the Ph.D. application on 1989 by the California University, Los Ángeles.
He was a researcher in the President’s advisor office (1979-1981). He worked in the General Direction of Treasury (1982-1985). As well as for the “Economic Analysis Corporation” in Los Ángeles, California (1987- 1988). He was an advisor for economic affairs with the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs (1988-1990).
Ernesto developed a wide academic work in the ITAM, INAP, and UIA by teaching economics courses, macroeconomy, advanced microeconomy, industrial organization, and monetary policy.
