With more than 20 years of professional experience in the Information Technology Industry, Gonzalo Alonso has been head of successful work teams in the worldwide biggest companies.

As Google’s first CEO for México and Hispanic markets, he founded the third Google operations base in the world, located in Buenos Aires. It ranked as one of the leader companies in Latin America and México, by recording annual increases of 300% during his management.

When working for Microsoft, he was responsible for the launching of internet Explorer. As T1MSN sales director, he raised the online publicity sales by 55% annually, in the company’s market share on online publicity from 18 to a 31%, the highest online publicity share in the region. With T1MSN, MSN Hotmail and MSN Messenger’s launching, Gonzalo achieved a growth from 0 to 91% in less than 3 years.

Gonzalo took a year of Microsoft license to become MercadoLibre.com marketing vice-president, he was part of the first expansion wave of the company with an initial budget of 5 million dollars, that generated profits for more than 90 million dollars in less than a year, with presence in more than 11 countries.
