Randall was named chairman and CEO of AT&T in 2007. Since then, AT&T has invested to become a global leader in providing integrated communications services to businesses and consumers, from video entertainment, high-speed Internet and mobility, to IP network services and the Internet of Things (IoT).
He began his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1982 in Oklahoma. He served as the company’s senior executive VP and CFO from 2001 to 2004, and from 2004 to 2007 he served as the company’s COO. He was appointed to AT&T’s board of directors in 2005.
He is a member of the board of directors of Emerson Electric Co. and Boeing, a member of the PGA TOUR Policy Board, and National President of the Boy Scouts of America.
Randall received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma and his Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma.
